i wouldnt be surprised if you cant remember me...
I'm sorry guys! Holly has been holding this blog downnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
But, last Sunday was the best day of my life. Absolute best.
I saw Blink 182 LIVE.
Live.
Here are a selection of pictures from the night, none of which are mine, I'll put some of mine on at a later date!
This is the setlist, apart from Blowjob and maybe Fuck a Dog, they did all the songs I wanted them to do, it was amazing, so amazing! I can't even put into words! The 2 songs labelled, 'Encore' was actually an acoustic set they did in the middle of the arena, and the doors they came through, were right next to us, literally a couple of metres seperated us, just adjkasodijsaodnhasod :p
Like I said, in the next post I do I will put up our pictures and videos of the gig. I'm still stoked from it, soon post concert depression will kick in!
Laterz!

Making the most of the sunshine
Mum's denim jacket - Dorothy Perkins
Bracelets - Various
Necklace - Present
Trilby - €10 - Disneyland Paris
Boyfriend's sunglasses - Primark
On Lookbook, they are currently running a competition sponsored by River Island, all you have to do is post a look which features atleast one item from River Island. I didn't even realise this until I was about to upload my photo and spotted the header. The winner of the contest will win £1000 if their look is chosen as the winner. It won't be me, but you have to be in it to win it, right?
It was really nice and sunny yesterday (not that you'd know it if you looked out of the window today) so I took full advantage of the weather and wore my new playsuit. It's a good job I did too, because it's pissed it down all day today.

First impressions count
Yesterday was one of the most nerve-racking days I've had in a while, I went to a party and met the majority of Alex's college friends for the first time.
A couple of weeks after getting together last summer, I went to town and met three of his friends: Danny, Katie and Ellie, they were all really nice but I'd not seen anything of any of his friends since then, and we've been together for almost ten months now.
Katie was throwing a belated (by a month) birthday party at her house and I was invited to join them - them being a group of about 12 people who were all older than me, one by as much as 5 years. Needless to say I was feeling anxious about them all finding me to be immature and dull, as I'm often extremely quiet around new people, and last night was no exception.
As their college course was coming to an end, they all got a bit emotional later on in the night, celebrating each other with so many rounds of applause that my hands began to ache. I even got my own round of applause 'for being the quietest one there'; cue me covering my face with my fist and Alex leaning over to hug me.
We ordered take-out pizza (a 16" pizza for two people, no less) that I couldn't manage my half of, but it beat my local takeaway by a mile - it didn't quite scratch up to Domino's, though.
Katie kept asking me if I was alright and if I wanted a drink for the first two-thirds of the evening before she gave up and let me just sit there and laugh along with the conversation - Alex has some very funny friends.
When Alex's mum came to pick us up at 11 (as Alex had work this morning - let's hope he doesn't have a hangover!) I got a handshake from Tom and a hug from Will, Danny and Katie - so I think I did alright.
The lesson? When you're meeting new people, they don't care if you're a little quiet and don't drink as much as everyone else, just be yourself and they'll realise, as will you, that sometimes that isn't such a bad person to be.

One trend I will definitely not be trying...
The shinge (short fringe)
No. No. No!
Am I the idiot here, or does it just look a bit... weird?
Josh Wood Atelier "It puts all the attention on your face..." Well, duh! Ofcourse it does!
I don't think I'd even try this trend out if Alex Pettyfer agreed to spend the night with me on the condition that I had a shinge cut in... okay, then maybe, just maybe. Possibly. If I had the deal in writing.
A while ago, there were three girls in the year below me that all showed up with matching shinges, and it later came out that one of them was doing a beauty diploma at college and they'd all had fringes cut in, but they weren't level, so they kept going shorter and shorter and shorter. It was hilarious. More hilarious because the hair was too short to even be pulled back, so the shinge was out for all to see!
It's one of the things that sometimes baffles me about fashion, how can something that we used to mock suddenly be considered cool? This is probably one of the reasons I shouldn't be a fashion blogger, but it wasn't too long ago that we were all mocking this particular lady...
I'm sorry, but whenever I see a short fringe, I think of her.
Fashion bloggers don't have to like every trend, right?

Wish List - Abercrombie & Fitch Hoodie
Abercrombie & Fitch - £72
I've already got a navy Hollister hoodie, which goes with just about everything in my wardrobe, so this would be a perfect substitute for when it's in the wash. And I love new hoodies when they're all soft and fluffy inside and I don't want to wash them because they lose their fluffiness.

New Playsuit
River Island - £19.99
I have been on the hunt for a floral playsuit since the spring/summer collections first came into the stores, and this is the first one I have found that combines both a pretty, all-over floral pattern and thick straps!
I don't really like wearing strapless bras because I never feel... supported, and I can't exactly go without, can I? And I don't like the look of a strapless top with bra straps underneath, so I wanted a playsuit with good thick straps. A lot of them have either no straps or spaghetti straps which would also require me to wear a strapless bra or have my straps out for all to see, so I'm not too keen on those either!
I may well post a look involving this playsuit once the weather picks up (at the moment it is pissing it down in a very British way, so it's not quite suitable weather just yet!)
I apologise for our severe lack of posts lately - if there's anything you would like us to post about, either tweet us @Moonkissed_ or email us at moonkissed@rocketmail.com
